the Programme
Join us for a spring walk through the idyllic countryside of Siġġiewi. Beginning at the cave dwellings of Għar il-Kbir, our members will set the scene for an event centred on life in the early 15th century. Along the way, we will explore not only the political events of the period but also shed light on how people within these communities lived their daily lives.
As we make our way back towards the village centre, our members will point out landmarks and share stories connected to the area’s history. The walk will conclude at the Old Church, where the community is invited to enjoy a picnic along with historical games, activities, and hands-on displays.
This Compagnia San Michele event is supported by the Siġġiewi Local Council and the Parish Church of St Nicolas, Siġġiewi.
